Hello, I am Jess Barton, the digital artist, paper crafter, and delightfully eccentric maker behind The Grimnagerie. Operating out of my studio in Brighton, Michigan, I spend my days blending my love for intricate design with the tactile satisfaction of crafting physical goods.
My artistic style draws heavily from dark academia, vintage maximalist collage, and classic literature. Whether I am sketching out new concepts or fine-tuning my cutting machines, my goal is always to create super special things that make people feel like they are living their absolute best life. The Grimnagerie is a labor of love built on a foundation of grit, creativity, and the straightforward desire to put something genuinely good into the world. I am building this business to support my family.
I am a woman with big dreams, a fair amount of sass, and a deep appreciation for the little details. When I am not designing or running production, you can usually find me reading a good fantasy novel outdoors, streaming cozy simulation games on Twitch, or enjoying life with my family and my cat, Danielle.
